About the Role
Based in BYD's Sydney office in Macquarie Park, in the position of Technical Specialist, you will support the Technical Service function of appointed Dealers, providing technical advice and support in the areas of technical, warranty, recalls/rework and customer concern investigation & resolution.
Responsibilities of the role are outlined below:
Respond to all lodged technical support requests through the appropriate channels.
Provide onsite/remote vehicle diagnostic supports.
Customer concern resolution and rework/recall directives.
Report on field product quality concerns and support field issue investigations.
Liaise with factory on technical, and field issue in conjunction with Technical & Engineering Manager.
Crate/Validate/maintain technical documentation, service bulletin in conjunction with publication specialist
Communicate & Broadcast to the dealer network on technical issues resolution and fixes through dealer bulletins and advice.
About You (Key requirement):
To be considered for the role you will require a Certificate 3 in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle) or equivalent or Automotive Electrician.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in either a customer service or technical support role in the automotive field, preferably with Master or Diagnostic Technician status.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
